Positively Connecting Youth and Community
RUSH provides a vital school and community-based mentoring program to assist in the reduction of social/emotional problems of youth through building resilience.
RUSH Mentoring Service Hunter Region was established in 2004 by the current Director Rick Prosser. The program does not receive any government funding and relies entirely on the financial support of our personal and business sponsors.
10 Years in the Hunter Region
In 2014 we are celebrating 10 years as RUSH Mentoring Service and we believe it to be a significant milestone for RUSH; it has stood the test of time succeeding through the generosity of our volunteers and the financial contributions of our personal supporters. Over the course of a decade RUSH has provided one on one mentoring for hundreds of young people and their families as well as presented motivational, positive choice and life skills programs to thousands of high school students throughout the region.
